Why You ll Love This Role: As a Clinical Assistant at Orthopaedic Associates of Maine, you ll work alongside top orthopedic specialists, assisting with patient intake, examinations, treatments, and procedures to ensure seamless care. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys hands-on patient interaction, values teamwork, and is committed to delivering exceptional healthcare experiences. What You ll Do: ✔️ Greet and room patients, ensuring a smooth and comfortable visit ✔️ Take vital signs, medical history, and intake information for provider review ✔️ Assist with casting, and other minor procedures as assigned ✔️ Educate patients by providing medication, treatment, and recovery instructions ✔️ Maintain accurate and timely documentation in Electronic Health Records (EHR) ✔️ Ensure a safe and organized clinical environment, following infection control procedures ✔️ Support providers by preparing exam rooms, managing supplies, and assisting in procedures ✔️ Work collaboratively with physicians, NP/PAs, and fellow clinical staff to optimize patient care What You Bring to the Team: ✅ Certified Medical Assistant (CMA), CNA, Athletic Trainer (ATC), LPN, Rad Tech, or other relevant clinical credential ✅ Current Maine license or eligibility for licensure (if applicable) ✅ BLS certification (or ability to obtain within 3 months of hire) ✅ Experience in a healthcare, clinical, or medical office setting preferred ✅ Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for patient and team interactions ✅ Ability to multitask, prioritize, and stay organized in a busy medical environment ✅ Strong compassion and patient-centered approach to care ✅ Proficient in electronic medical records (EMR) and basic computer skills Why Join Orthopaedic Associates of Maine?
