Description We are offering a contract employment opportunity for a Merchandising Assistant in the manufacturing industry, located in Monterey, California. As a Merchandising Assistant, you will be involved in various aspects of merchandising, such as pricing, competition analysis, product life cycle management, and product setups. You will also play a crucial role in launching new products.

Responsibilities:

• Engage in the detailed processing of product pricing and competition analysis • Actively manage and monitor product life cycles • Handle product setups with accuracy and efficiency • Play a pivotal role in launching new products in the market • Deliver excellent customer service and resolve customer inquiries promptly • Maintain meticulous records of customer interactions and transactions • Utilize Microsoft Excel for efficient data entry and management • Show aptitude and skill set for growth and development within the role Requirements • Minimum of 1 year experience in a similar role within the manufacturing industry

• Demonstrated skills in customer service, showing ability to handle customer inquiries and complaints professionally

• Proficient in Microsoft Excel, with the ability to create, edit, and manage complex spreadsheets

• Proven data entry skills, with an emphasis on accuracy and speed

• Possess strong attention to detail, ensuring merchandise is accurately represented and organized

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment

• Strong organizational and time-management skills, capable of prioritizing tasks to meet deadlines

• Ability to adapt to changing needs and demands in a fast-paced manufacturing environment

• High school diploma or equivalent education level is required

• Willingness to learn and take on new responsibilities as required
