Description We are looking for a dedicated Onboarding Specialist to join our team in Richmond, Virginia. In this role, you will play a vital part in facilitating the pre-onboarding process for new medical staff residents. This is a long-term contract position, offering the opportunity to work in a dynamic healthcare environment and contribute to a seamless onboarding experience.
Responsibilities:
• Assist with managing pre-onboarding paperwork and ensuring all required documentation is completed accurately and on time.
• Collaborate with the Onboarding Specialist II to issue lab orders and coordinate related tasks.
• Send out digital links and instructions for new medical staff residents to complete as part of their onboarding process.
• Track and upload completed documentation into the organization's HRIS system, ensuring updates are made daily.
• Provide exceptional customer service by addressing inquiries and resolving any issues related to the onboarding process.
• Serve as the initial point of contact for guests, ensuring a warm and attentive greeting each morning.
• Maintain a high level of accuracy and attention to detail while managing multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Work collaboratively with the team, demonstrating self-motivation and the ability to work with minimal supervision.
• Ensure punctuality and readiness to assist as the facility opens each day.
• Adapt to various technology platforms and systems to support onboarding activities efficiently. Requirements • Strong communication and listening skills, with the ability to deliver excellent customer service.
• Proficiency in using technology and the ability to navigate multiple systems confidently.
• A team-oriented mindset combined with the ability to work independently and take initiative.
• Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail to handle multiple tasks effectively.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while maintaining accuracy and focus.
• Punctuality and professionalism to serve as the first point of contact for guests.
• Familiarity with onboarding processes and HRIS systems is preferred.
