Description We are looking for a detail-oriented Accounts Payable Clerk to join our team in Kent, Ohio. This long-term contract position offers an excellent opportunity to contribute to maintaining accurate financial records and ensuring timely processing of invoices. The ideal candidate will have experience in construction billing and proficiency in Microsoft Excel.

Responsibilities:

• Process and reconcile accounts payable invoices to ensure accurate payment records.

• Manage invoice coding and data entry to maintain organized and error-free documentation.

• Perform account reconciliations to resolve discrepancies and maintain financial accuracy.

• Handle check runs and payment processing in a timely manner.

• Utilize Microsoft Excel for tracking and reporting financial data.

• Assist with AIA billing and project-related invoicing tasks.

• Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures during billing activities.

• Support clean-up efforts for backlogged invoices and reconciliations.

• Coordinate with team members to address billing issues and improve workflows. Requirements • Proven experience in accounts payable, including invoice processing and account reconciliation.

• Familiarity with construction billing practices, including AIA billing.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel for financial tasks and reporting.

• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

• Ability to perform accurate data entry and invoice coding.

• Knowledge of check runs and payment processing.

• Excellent communication skills for collaborating with internal teams.

• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines effectively.
