Description We are looking for an organized and detail-oriented Accounting Clerk to join our team in Albuquerque, New Mexico. In this role, you will handle a variety of accounting tasks, including accounts payable, payroll processing, and reporting. This position offers a dynamic work environment with opportunities to contribute to administrative and operational functions.

Responsibilities:

• Process invoices and ensure timely posting for accounts payable.

• Issue checks to vendors and maintain accurate filing systems.

• Handle bi-weekly payroll processing for hourly employees.

• Prepare weekly progress reports and store summaries using Excel.

• Assist the Vice President with marketing-related tasks and e-commerce order processing.

• Schedule and manage store pick-up days, including monthly closures.

• Manage tenant billing for commercial properties, including rent and fees.

• Reconcile bank accounts and create journal entries for prepaid rent and management fees.

• Generate various performance and compensation reports, such as sales payroll and freight analysis.

• Monitor inventory accounts, credit memos, and voids to ensure accuracy. Requirements

Sage software

• Proficiency in accounts payable, accounts receivable, and account reconciliation.

• Strong skills in invoice processing and data entry.

• Experience with payroll systems and reporting.

• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel and familiarity with accounting software like QuickBooks, SAP, or Oracle.

• Ability to generate detailed reports and analyze financial data.

• Excellent organizational and time management skills.

• Strong understanding of company policies and procedures.

• Ability to monitor and ensure accuracy in inventory and administrative tasks.
