Description

Robert Half is seeking a Release of Information Receptionist to join our clients team in Portland, OR. This is a contract position with a major player in the medical space. Within this position would answer all ROI calls and monitor and log emails that come in for the Release of Information team to process.

Responsibilities:

• Answer all ROI calls and monitor and log emails that come in for the Release of Information team to process.

• Monitor and log emails that come in for the Release of Information team to process.

• Provide excellent customer service by addressing inquiries and resolving issues

• Utilize Excel to log information gained on ROI calls

• Assist with general administrative tasks, including filing, scanning, and data entry.

• Ensure confidentiality and security of sensitive patient information in accordance with HIPAA guidelines.

• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure timely and accurate documentation.

• Use Microsoft Office Suite to prepare reports, correspondence, and other documentation as needed.

• Support the team in streamlining office workflows and improving efficiency.

Requirements

• At least 1 year of experience in a similar role, preferably in a healthcare or health insurance setting.

• Experience answering phones and speaking with patients and customers

• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.

• Exceptional organizational and time management skills to handle multiple tasks effectively.

• Excellent customer service abilities to communicate professionally with patients and healthcare staff.

• Basic office skills, including filing, scanning, and data entry.

• Understanding of confidentiality requirements and compliance with HIPAA regulations.

• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
