Description We are looking for a highly motivated Human Resources (HR) Assistant to join our team in Muskogee, Oklahoma. In this long-term contract role, you will play a key part in supporting HR operations within a manufacturing environment, focusing on employee relations, recruitment, compliance, and performance management. This position is ideal for someone with strong organizational skills and a passion for fostering positive workplace dynamics.

Responsibilities:

• Provide day-to-day HR support to manufacturing managers and employees, ensuring smooth implementation of HR programs, policies, and processes.

• Build and maintain strong relationships with internal managers and supervisors to assist in resolving workplace issues and improving decision-making.

• Coach employees and managers to enhance performance and foster continuous improvement in employee relations.

• Oversee and administer HR processes such as staffing, performance management, training and development, and employee relations.

• Manage recruitment efforts for hourly positions, including job postings, interviews, and candidate screening.

• Conduct employee orientations and support onboarding activities, while coordinating training initiatives with Workforce Development.

• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.

• Administer performance management programs for hourly employees, including annual evaluations and disciplinary actions.

• Maintain accurate and organized employee records in accordance with compliance requirements and company standards.

• Provide support for other HR functions as needed, contributing to the overall success of the HR department. Requirements • Strong knowledge of federal and state employment laws and regulations.

• Proven experience in union avoidance strategies within a large hourly workforce environment.

• Excellent communication skills, including verbal, written, and interpersonal abilities.

• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment with strong organizational skills.

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.

• Minimum of 2 years of exempt-level HR experience, preferably in an industrial or manufacturing setting.

• Certification in HR-related fields such as PHR or SHRM-CP is preferred.

• Proficiency in HR systems such as ADP Workforce Now, Ceridian, or similar platforms. TalentMatch®
