We are seeking a talented and experienced Engineering Manager to lead a high-performing engineering team responsible for delivering robust and scalable DevOps solutions. This role is ideal for candidates with expertise in Linux environments, Cloud platforms, and automation tools, as well as strong leadership capabilities. Key Responsibilities:
+ Lead, mentor, and grow an engineering team, ensuring high performance, collaboration, and career development.
+ Oversee system architecture, design, and development across projects with a strong focus on uptime, scalability, and security.
+ Drive the design, implementation, and management of CI/CD pipelines and deployment workflows using tools such as Jenkins, Ansible, and Azure DevOps.
+ Manage and optimize Linux-based infrastructure to deliver reliable, high-availability systems.
+ Champion the adoption of DevOps practices, leveraging tools and frameworks to improve automation and system efficiency.
+ Develop and maintain scripts and automation tools in Python, streamlining operations and reducing manual tasks.
+ Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including development, QA, and operations, to ensure efficient delivery of projects and alignment with business objectives.
+ Oversee cloud infrastructure implementations in Azure, including networking, compute, and security configurations.
+ Act as a technical subject matter expert, guiding the team in solving complex issues and adopting new technologies or best practices.
Requirements
Required Skills and Experience:
+ 7+ years of experience in software engineering, DevOps, or infrastructure roles, with at least 2 years in a leadership or management position.
+ Expertise in Linux systems administration involving troubleshooting, scripting, and performance tuning.
+ Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, Azure DevOps, or GitHub Actions.
+ Strong programming and automation skills using Python with experience in configuration management frameworks like Ansible.
+ Solid experience with cloud platforms, particularly Microsoft Azure, including IaaS and PaaS offerings.
+ Deep understanding of DevOps practices, containerization (e.g., Docker), and orchestration tools (e.g., Kubernetes).
+ Proven ability to design and implement scalable solutions with a focus on reliability and performance.
+ Experience working in Agile or Scrum environments with regular sprints and sprint planning.
Preferred Qualifications:
+ Experience integrating and automating security workflows into CI/CD pipelines (DevSecOps).
+ Familiarity with other programming languages or scripting tools (e.g., Bash, Shell, or PowerShell).
+ Proficiency with monitoring and logging tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, or Azure Monitor.
+ Certifications in Azure (e.g., Azure Solutions Architect, Azure DevOps Engineer Expert) or Linux (e.g., RHCE or LPIC).
+ Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities, with a focus on collaboration and driving results
