    JOB PURPOSE

    The B&W Category Operations organization is made up of dedicated teams focused on best-in-class execution across all portfolio brands in close partnership with the cross functional teams.

     

    B&W Category Operations Lead will lead the delivery of the B&W strategy and growth agenda through the direct management of customer & category development teams, as well as category operations, and value creation.

     

    The Associate Performance Lead for Hair will partner with Category Operations managers to drive performance against top key customers including top 5 strategic hair care customers, and work directly with Marketing Demand Generation teams, Supply Chain, and Field Sales. Assist with building and implementing brand plans and strategies that deliver on growth objectives established for our haircare portfolio. These plans should optimize the return on brand activation and customer investment inclusive of consumer promotion, trade promotion, customer specific marketing, and special pack funding. Responsible for managing cross channel opportunities and conflict for assigned brands as well as analyzing competition in the marketplace.

    WHAT WILL YOUR MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES BE

    + Provide top customer input/insight into brand innovation planning and lead the customer presentation development process

    + Identify brand Category Management needs and priorities for assigned brands

    + Develop, lead and/or support brand projects as necessary to reach revenue targets and trade investment budgets

    + Serve as direct/primary lead brand/field sales communication

    + Key strategic link between brand building/development and field sales on planning, strategy & opportunity management

    + Develop customer, channel (and geography) specific brand trade promotional strategies, budgets and targets

    + Evaluate customer specific packs and programs requested by field sales and drive agreement/resolution through the Brand Team.

    + Work with the Brand Teams to develop a seamless, fully integrated marketing plan for top customers

    + Partner with Category Operations Managers to drive business performance across hair portfolio

    + Lead reporting across Hair portfolio with a focus on market share and progress against growth objectives, including NSV and USG.

    + Lead adhoc reporting for initiatives such as Price Tracking, POS Innovation SKU performance

    + Performance analysis to inform growth plans, pivots needed to deliver growth plans

    + Lead field engagement coordination for key tentpole events.

    WHAT YOU WILL NEED TO SUCCEED

    Experiences & Qualifications

     

    + Bachelor's degree required

    + Minimum of 3+ years relevant experience

    + Proficiency with IRI (Syndicated Research data), MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook) required

    + Proficiency or demonstrate ability to learn AMPS/Evergreen and Merlin (SSAS) preferred

    + Must be able to prioritize and balance several projects and priorities concurrently

    + Excellent communication and relationship building skills, strong attention to detail, clear understanding of customer/sector volume, ability to coordinate across various functions required

    + Self-starter who brings a collaborative approach to the team, inspires others through their passion, expression and enthusiasm, and embraces agile ways of working to grow their business.

    Pay: The pay range for this position is $86,080 to $129,120. Unilever takes into consideration a wide range of factors that are utilized in making compensation decisions including, but not limited to, skill sets, experience and training, licensure and certifications, qualifications and education, and other business and organizational needs.

     

    Bonus: This position is bonus eligible.

     

    Long-Term Incentive (LTI): This position is LTI eligible.
