    A Snapshot of Your Day

     

    As Manufacturing Manager at our new Siemens Energy Transformers Repair Center Factory in Charlotte, North Carolina, you will play a pivotal role within the organization planning, developing, and advising the production process across all production areas! The ideal candidate will have a strong background in transformer manufacturing or servicing, with a consistent record of leading manufacturing teams to achieve perfection in production efficiency, quality, and safety. You will lead employees according to the Company’s goals and current regulations and provide the vital resources. You will ensure and develop your team’s specialist knowledge and supply to the development of business processes.

     

    The facility is planned to be built by 2026 for production commencement. Consequently, the first part of the journey in this role in our Company will involve developing a high-performance team and coordinating all aspects of the factory setup to prepare for production, as well overseeing building and construction of the factory and the implementation of new processes.

    How You’ll Make an Impact

    + Lead the manufacturing team by hiring, training, and developing members to create a skilled and motivated workforce aligned with business objectives.

    + Propose and implement strategies that define the entire manufacturing process, including resource allocation, cooperation, and interfaces.

    + Develop a step-by-step strategy for the factory ramp-up phase, identifying key roles and necessary training for effective operations.

    + Research and implement innovative digital tools to enhance the manufacturing process and ensure high-quality product output.

    + Organize and monitor production activities, focusing on technology, capacity, process stability, delivery reliability, and budget compliance.

    + Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and regulatory standards while fostering strong relationships with clients to meet their needs and enhance customer satisfaction.

    What You Bring

    + Bachelor’s or equivalent experience in engineering. Master’s degree in engineering or management preferred.

    + 8+ years of professional experience in Manufacturing Industries with at least 5 years in a leadership role. Candidates with more experience can be considered for a higher level or vice-versa.

    + Experience in the Power Transformer sector or in the Service Business is required

    + Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with all levels of the organization and with external partners.

    + In-depth knowledge of quality management systems, lean manufacturing principles, and continuous improvement methodologies

    + If not local, the candidate must be willing to relocate to Charlotte, NC area.
