Great Place Constructionis a private construction firm that specializes in commercial construction. We are seeking a Project Engineer to join our team to facilitate, analyze and manage field coordination as part of the on-site management team. DUTIES:

+ Develop/implement pre-construction quality control plan.

+ Assist in obtaining/maintaining construction permits.

+ Administer daily project tracking and reporting.

+ Manage and distribute project information and contract documents.

+ Facilitate project close out.

+ Actively participating in expanding your knowledge of construction means and methods by participating in project processes; rfi’s, submittals, as-builts, schedules, etc.

+ Be an active participant in elevating yourself and the team around you.

+ Willingness to do whatever it takes to deliver a successful outcome.

REQUIREMENTS:

+ Excellent communication skills

+ Excellent attention to detail.

+ Basic understanding of construction means, methods and practices.

+ Bachelor’s degree or working toward a bachelor's degree in construction or engineering or equivalent experience.

+ Minimum 1 year of related experience

+ Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite of tools

+ Valid DL and good driving record
