    Office Administrator (6 month contract-to-hire)

    Job Description

    We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Office Administrator to manage daily operations and support cross-functional teams. This role combines traditional office management with project coordination responsibilities, ensuring smooth operations and effective communication across departments.

    Responsibilities

    + Oversee day-to-day office procedures including scheduling, correspondence, record-keeping, ordering office supplies, and coordinating training sessions and lunches.

    + Assist in preparing and managing budgets, consolidating forecasts, and ensuring cost-effective operations without requiring excessive oversight.

    + Provide high-level administrative assistance to corporate staff, including the creation of Excel spreadsheets (pivot tables, VLOOKUPs), PowerPoint presentations, and other documentation.

    + Develop and implement administrative policies and procedures to enhance operational efficiency.

    + Manage and support various projects, ensuring timely execution and alignment with organizational goals.

    + Serve as a central point of contact for internal communications, handling inquiries and facilitating information flow across departments.

    + Ensure adherence to relevant laws, regulations, and internal policies.

    + Pull, organize, and analyze data to support reporting and decision-making processes.

    Essential Skills

    + Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUPs) and PowerPoint.

    + Experience in manufacturing industry.

    + Strong organizational and multitasking skills.

    + Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.

    + Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + Previous administrative experience is a plus.

    Work Environment

    The Office Administrator will work in a dynamic office setting where they will be expected to coordinate various activities and projects across departments. The role requires flexibility, strong organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail.

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $28.85 - $53.05/hr.
