CiTi BOCES is seeking a passionate and dedicated Secondary Social Studies Teacher with expertise in Global and US History to join our Regional Summer School team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in social studies education and a commitment to student success.

Responsibilities:

+ Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that cover Global and US History topics.

+ Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages student participation and learning.

+ Assess and monitor student progress, providing feedback and support as needed.

+ Collaborate with other summer school staff to ensure a cohesive educational experience.

+ Communicate effectively with students, parents, and colleagues.

Position: 7-12 Certified Social Studies Teacher Location: CiTi BOCES, GRB High School Site (Fulton) Type: Regional Summer School

Duration: 7/18 (Orientation), 7/21 - 8/14 (Monday - Thursday only)

Time: 8:45 AM - 12:15 PM

Job Qualifications

+ Valid New York State (NYS) teaching certification in 7-12 Social Studies.

+ Proven experience teaching Global and US History at the secondary level.

+ Strong classroom management skills and the ability to create a positive learning environment.

+ Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

+ Commitment to professional development and staying current with educational best practices.
