    Job Title: Strategic Sourcing Specialist

    Job Description

    We are seeking a highly skilled Strategic Sourcing Specialist to manage a portfolio of large capital projects valued at $500 million and above, as well as medium capital projects ranging from $25 to $100 million. This role involves supporting various spend sub-categories including Architectural and Engineering services, Construction Management services, Automation Integration services, Commissioning, Quality and Validation services, and General Construction Contractor and individual Construction Trade Services.

    Responsibilities

    + Act as the Contracting lead, overseeing contracting activities such as selecting appropriate contract templates, negotiating terms, and creating contracts in Sirion.

    + Manage ongoing contract management needs and ensure a smooth hand-off to the Contract-to-Pay teams.

    + Execute and implement sourcing strategies and purchasing needs for US-based operations.

    + Perform e-sourcing (eRFX) for Capital Construction and Capital Equipment Global Category Management teams.

    + Serve as the Procurement Process and Systems expert, ensuring compliance with global sourcing policies and procedures.

    + Participate as an integral member of Project Delivery teams.

    + Understand business goals and customer needs to identify opportunities for improvement and provide training and guidance.

    + Collaborate with colleagues in Finance and other Function Heads as necessary.

    + Support and manage delivery and validation of savings for Global Category Managers.

    + Anticipate and prevent potential problems through root cause analysis.

    + Draft and ensure timely reviews and execution of all contract documents using Sirion, working closely with Legal to progress contract language and agreements.

    + Support ongoing contract management, including renewing and renegotiating existing and expiring contracts.

    + Ensure procurement policies are followed and compliance metrics are met or exceeded, supported through supplier contracts published in Ariba.

    Essential Skills

    + Proficiency in contract negotiation and supplier negotiation.

    + Expertise in strategic sourcing.

    + Bachelors degree and a minimum of 7 years of hands-on experience as a Sourcing or Procurement Lead on multiple Project Delivery teams.

    + Flexibility and agility to manage and prioritize a dynamic portfolio of construction projects.

    + Mastery of capital project sourcing processes including tendering, supplier negotiations, selection process, and contracting in various capital construction categories.

    + Proficiency in e-sourcing tools such as Ariba.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + Excellent communication skills, including presentation and virtual team development.

    + Experience using e-procurement tools such as SAP, Ariba, Sirion, and Scout.

    + Experience in construction within the Pharma industry is a plus.

    Work Environment

    This is an on-site position that requires interaction with various teams and departments. The role involves working with advanced technologies and e-procurement tools in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $70.00 - $75.00/hr.
