Job Title: Electrical Engineering TechnicianJob Description
We are seeking an Electrical Engineering Technician to focus on system startups, commissioning, installation, and maturation activities for new automated equipment within powertrain and engine facilities. This role involves working across various locations including Ohio, Russells Point, Ohio, Georgia, Alabama, and Greenville, Indiana.
Responsibilities
+ Install and commission automated equipment.
+ Troubleshoot PLCs and conduct I/O checkouts.
+ Perform function testing of new model tooling and equipment quality checks.
+ Review schematics and design drawings.
+ Conduct electrical troubleshooting.
Essential Skills
+ Field service experience.
+ Proficiency in PLC troubleshooting and ladder logic.
+ Experience in robotic programming.
+ Automated equipment commissioning experience.
+ I/O check out and PLC experience.
+ Associates degree in engineering or related field.
+ Skills in troubleshooting, electrical, mechanical, schematic, assembly, and wiring.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Ability to work weekends and holidays.
+ Capable of working an average of 5 hours of overtime per week.
+ Willingness to travel approximately 20% of the time, which could include extended periods or multiple weekends.
Work Environment
The work environment is manufacturing-focused, requiring attention to detail and adherence to safety protocols. The role includes travel between multiple facilities, and the ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays, due to equipment downtime.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $36.30 - $36.30/hr.
