Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated Certified Medical Assistant to join our team. This role involves providing comprehensive support to dermatologists, ensuring patient care and smooth clinical operations.
Responsibilities
+ Room patients and document all vital information accurately.
+ Scribe information for the dermatologist during consultations.
+ Provide post-operative wound care instructions to patients.
+ Draw blood and prepare specimens for analysis.
+ Clean and stock exam rooms to maintain a safe and efficient environment.
+ Schedule patient appointments effectively to optimize clinic flow.
+ Assist dermatologists with surgical photographs, biopsies, and patch testing, although the consultant will not perform these procedures.
Essential Skills
+ Proficiency in medical assisting and health care practices.
+ Experience in scheduling appointments and rooming patients.
+ Ability to draw blood and check vitals accurately.
+ Competence in medical scribing and terminology.
+ Patient intake and appointment scheduling skills.
+ Strong customer service and triage capabilities.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Must be a Certified Medical Assistant with 1-3 years of CMA or MA experience.
+ High School Diploma required.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $21.00 - $21.00/hr.
