    Traffic Engineer

    Job Description

    We are looking for a highly skilled traffic engineer with a Bachelor's Degree in civil engineering focused on transportation, highway engineering, or traffic engineering. The ideal candidate will possess 2-5 years of experience in traffic design, with a primary focus on traffic projects. Preferred candidates will have an EIT certification and proficiency in Microstation.

    Responsibilities

    + Support DOT and private sector projects with preliminary and final engineering design reviews.

    + Review and prepare engineering-related calculations.

    + Develop drawings, plans, and visual aids.

    + Review and develop cost estimates.

    + Prepare technical reports and memos.

    + Work on zone/traffic control plan sets.

    + Conduct office research, fieldwork, data collection, and data analysis.

    Essential Skills

    + Bachelor's Degree in civil engineering focused on transportation, highway engineering, or traffic engineering.

    + 2-5 years of experience in traffic design.

    + Proficiency in Microstation.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + EIT certification is preferred.

    + Experience with DelDOT, PADOT, or MDOT is beneficial.

    + Familiarity with Microsoft Office, AutoCAD, and ProjectWise.

    Work Environment

    This position offers a hybrid schedule, requiring candidates to be based in Wilmington or Dover. The work schedule consists of three days in the office and two days remote, with Monday being mandatory in-office.     Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $70000.00 - $90000.00/yr.
