Responsibilities

Patient Assessment and Diagnosis

+ Diagnose and manage a wide range of medical conditions in both scheduled and walk-in visits.

+ Develop and implement comprehensive treatment plans based on patient needs and clinical guidelines.

Treatment Planning and Management

+ Prescribe medications, monitor treatment effectiveness, and provide preventive care and health education.

+ Offer follow-up care and ensure continuity across the care journey.

Procedures

+ Perform minor in-office procedures such as wound care, joint injections, abscess drainage, and similar interventions.

+ Provide appropriate pre- and post-procedural care in alignment with clinical protocols.

Collaboration and Consultation

+ Communicate effectively with patients, families, and interdisciplinary care teams.

+ Participate in team-based care coordination and regular clinic meetings.

+ Maintain accurate, compliant documentation for all patient encounters.

Quality, Compliance, and Professional Development

+ Contribute to quality improvement efforts and track clinical outcomes for ongoing enhancement.

+ Comply with ethical standards, healthcare regulations, and documentation guidelines.

+ Engage in continuous learning and stay current with medical advancements and best practices.

Qualifications

+ Active California state medical license and DEA registration

+ BE/BC in Family Medicine

+ Strong clinical skills and experience working with all ages

+ Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

+ Ability to work effectively in a team-based healthcare environment

+ Spanish proficiency a plus

+ Demonstrate empathy, compassion, and respect for the unique needs of elderly patients

Compensation/Benefits Include:

+ Guaranteed Salary up to $280k per year

$120.19 - $134.61 /hour
