As a Home Health Aide (HHA) at Ultimate Care NY, you will play a vital role in enhancing the quality of life for our clients. You will work closely with individuals in their homes to provide essential care and support, helping them maintain their independence and dignity.

Schedule: Flexible shifts available, including weekdays, weekends, overnight, and split shifts (12-hour cases)

Compensation: $21.00 per hour

Key Responsibilities:

+ Assist clients with daily living activities, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and meal preparation.

+ Monitor and accurately report any changes in the client's health status to the supervising nurse.

+ Provide companionship and emotional support to clients, fostering a positive and nurturing environment.

+ Perform light housekeeping duties to maintain a clean and safe living space.

+ Assist clients with transportation to medical appointments or social outings.

+ Document care activities and any observations regarding the client's health.

+ Assist with repositioning and mobility, including handling bed-bound patients and using lifts as necessary.

+ Demonstrate awareness and understanding of mental health conditions within the client population.

+ Valid Home Health Aide (HHA) certification from an accredited program.

+ Completion of a recognized training program, including both theoretical and practical components.

+ Exceptional communication skills and a compassionate demeanor.

+ Able to work independently while following care plans and guidelines.

+ Reliable and punctual, with a strong sense of responsibility.
