Job Title: Shipping Coordinator
Job Description
Coordinate and manage full truckload and LTL orders while scheduling pickups. Oversee outbound packages for transportation, ensuring timely inspection, shipping, and processing in accordance with company policies. Verify that shipments are loaded on time, within budget, and shipped to correct locations in good condition.
Responsibilities
+ Review sales orders, process order changes, manage returns and cancellations, print shipping labels, schedule loads, and process shipping paperwork.
+ Coordinate and oversee shipping services to ensure orders are filled correctly.
+ Communicate with shippers to provide rates, manage large quantities of packages, and assist with routing tasks.
+ Confirm weights and package sizes, ensure correct charges are applied, and resolve issues within the company inventory system.
+ Manage shipping orders and invoices by reviewing shipping documents to ensure correct methods are used and documentation is stored accurately.
+ Assist with inspecting loads and operations to comply with shipping specifications and optimize warehouse space.
+ Compile required reporting and metrics to support business and departmental functions.
+ Perform other duties and tasks as assigned.
Essential Skills
+ Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
+ Proficiency in logistics software and systems, such as TMS and ERP.
+ Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially MS Excel.
+ Knowledge of regulatory requirements and compliance standards.
+ Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
+ Strong analytical skills with proficiency in data gathering.
+ Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and deadlines.
+ Good judgment and decision-making abilities.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ At least 2+ years of experience in shipping and logistics procedures.
+ Minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent.
+ Direct experience in routing, processing, and closing sales orders after shipment pickup.
+ Ability to work as part of a team.

Work Environment
First shift hours from 7:00 AM to 4:30 PM or 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with some overtime. Work in a clean, non-climate controlled, large team environment.
Job Type & Location
This is a Permanent position based out of Lewisville, Texas.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $45000.00 - $55000.00/yr.
