Job Title: CNC Machinist
This is a direct hire, hourly position with weekly pay!
Job Description
We are seeking a skilled CNC Machinist to set up and operate CNC Mill and Grinders in our department, producing a wide variety of parts from with applications in various industries. You will have the chance to work with 3 and 5-axis CNC machines to mill, turn, and bore parts, utilizing oral and written instructions, blueprints, sketches, and process sheets. Experience using precision measuring instruments, such as calipers and micrometers, are essential for this role.
Responsibilities
+ Set up and operate CNC Mill and Lathes
+ touch off parts after tooling changes, perform quality checks of finished parts, make minor adjustments to programs conversationally
+ Work with various metals and understand their properties
+ Follow oral and written instructions, blueprints, sketches, and process sheets.
+ Utilize precision measuring instruments such as calipers and micrometers.
+ Embody culture of continuous learning and improvement
Essential Skills
+ Minimum of 3 years CNC experience.
+ Proficiency in CNC setup, operation, and tooling changes.
+ Ability to read blueprints.
+ Experience with precision measurement and CNC programming.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $57158.40 - $57158.40/yr.
PAID HOLIDAYS -- 12 holidays per calendar year and 2 personal holidays per Union contract year
VACATION – 2 weeks’ of vacation after completing 6-months of employment; vacation resets on 1/1 of each calendar year
RETIREMENT/401(K) PLAN – Option to invest your contributions on a Pre-tax or Roth (After-tax) basis. Automatic enrollment at 3% unless you elect differently.
Automatic 3% company contribution into your account on a per pay period basis (regardless of your
participation, 1 year vesting)
HEALTH CARE BENEFITS (effective 1st of month following or coincident with date of hire)
