Overview:
Xerox IT Solutions LLC is an information services technology company that has continually redefined the workplace experience for more than 100 years is currently seeking an IT Account Manager to support the greater Ashland, VA area. As an IT Account Manager you will be responsible for driving business growth by expanding our IT solutions. You will work closely with clients to understand their needs, provide technical expertise, and deliver exceptional client service.
To excel in this position, you should have a strong background in business development and technical sales within the IT industry. With the opportunity for unlimited earning potential, you will have the opportunity to utilize your business development skills, technical sales knowledge, and market insights to identify new opportunities for growth. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful delivery of IT solutions that meet client requirements. This position is for a high achiever with a demonstrated track record of success in prospecting, identifying, qualifying, and closing.

What You Will Do:
+ **Prospecting:** Identify prospects inside and outside the client base of Xerox Business Solutions. Gain initial appointment, generally with a CIO, CEO, President, Owner or other key decision makers within the SMB space.
+ **Client Needs Assessment:** Determine customer pain points as it relates to management of their IT environment, technology, and technology assets. Conduct opportunity follow-up.
+ **Presentation on benefits of Xerox IT services;** Describe benefits in terms of financial justification as well as improvement in quality, performance, and uptime.
+ Lead strategic discussions relative to IT strategies to a non-technical audience.
+ Work closely with sales teams to develop opportunities and qualify/quantify leads.
+ Gains a specified number of new accounts each month by effective telemarketing, networking and cold calling campaigns.
+ Develops and tracks opportunities in Salesforce.
+ Works with other divisions to participate in all cross-selling opportunities and to maximize selling potential within the company.
+ Creates proposals while collaborating with vCIO and sales staff to accomplish client’s IT objectives.
What You Need to Succeed:
+ Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent experience) and a minimum of 5-years of progressive sales experience in Managed IT services preferred.
+ Specific experience selling IT solutions, including Network, Data Center, Managed Services, Cloud Services and Security Solutions along with relevant services is preferred.
+ Self-directed, adaptable and positive.
+ Excellent communication, presentation, listening skills.
+ Superior work ethic and high energy level.
+ Willingness to take risks and try innovative, new approaches.
+ Valid Driver’s License with a relatively clean driving record.
How We Set You Up for Success:
+ Up to six (6) weeks of EVOLVE Sales Development Program training hosted by the Xerox Global Learning and Development (L&D) team.
+ Training includes field time, live prospecting, virtual classes, and self-paced eLearning.
+ Upon EVOLVE Sales Development Program completion, the IT Sales Executive will have the ability to demonstrate foundational knowledge of the Xerox Value Proposition and apply the Xerox Sales Process and Tools.
+ Partner with Sales Specialists and Product / Program Subject Matter Experts (SME).
