    Position Overview

    The General Utility Oiler is responsible for supporting daily facility operations and routine maintenance tasks. This position involves both mechanical and minor electrical work, as well as material handling and environmental compliance duties.

    Key Responsibilities:

    Perform daily coolant tank refill rounds to ensure proper fluid levels and machine operation.

    Complete minor facility maintenance projects, including:

    Painting

     

    Light bulb replacement

     

    Low voltage (120 VAC) electrical repairs

     

    Assist with office relocations and workstation moves.

     

    Conduct monthly oil inventory and track usage.

     

    Perform routine facility preventive maintenance (PMs).

     

    Manage recycling processes for metal chips, cardboard, and waste oil.

     

    Operate evaporator systems and ensure proper function.

     

    Comply with HAZMAT handling and waste management protocols.

    Qualifications

    Education: High school diploma or equivalent required. Some experience in a manufacturing setting preferred. Basic understanding of maintenance tasks in a manufacturing environment.

    Skills & Abilities:

    Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.

     

    Willingness and ability to obtain a company-sponsored forklift license.

     

    Comfortable operating a scissor lift up to heights of 26 feet.

    Must be able to obtain company-sponsored certifications for:

    HAZMAT Handler

     

    HAZMAT Inspector

     

    Compensation and Benefits

     

    Pay Range: $21.00-$24.00
