    Description:

    We are seeking a skilled Python Developer with a strong focus on backend development to join our Enterprise Payments Team. The ideal candidate will be a versatile team player capable of handling production issues, developing new features, and contributing to various projects. This role offers the opportunity to work on both existing systems and new applications, providing a diverse and challenging work environment.

     

    _We can facilitate w2 and corp-to-corp consultants. For our w2 consultants, we offer a great benefits package that includes Medical, Dental, and Vision benefits, 401k with company matching, and life insurance._

     

    _Rate: $60 - $67 / hr. w2_

    Responsibilities:

    + Collaborate with the team to support and enhance our existing payment systems.

    + Develop and implement new backend features and processes.

    + Troubleshoot and resolve production issues in a timely manner.

    + Contribute to the design and development of greenfield applications.

    + Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration and delivery of payment solutions.

    Experience Requirements:

    + Strong proficiency in Python, with experience in writing both APIs and backend processes.

    + Experience with Java for backend development.

    + Hands-on experience with AWS for cloud-based application development and deployment.

    + Familiarity with Jenkins for CI/CD pipeline automation.

    + Experience with Docker for containerization and deployment.

    + Previous experience in the payments industry is a plus, but not required.

    Qualifications:

    + Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.

    + Proven experience in backend development, with a focus on Python.

    + Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

    + Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with team members and stakeholders.

     

    _Skills, experience, and other compensable factors will be considered when determining pay rate. The pay range provided in this posting reflects a W2 hourly rate; other employment options may be available that may result in pay outside of the provided range._
