• Cyber Software Engineer

    ManTech (San Antonio, TX)


    ManTech seeks a motivated, career and customer-oriented **Cyber Software Engineer** to join our team in **San Antonio, Texas.**

     

    This rewarding and challenging position supports multiple defense agencies to produce a wide range of capabilities designed to improve cyberspace operations and defend U.S. vital national security interests.

    Responsibilities include, but are not limited to** **_:_

    + Integrate mission software applications into Kubernetes-based cyber security platforms with a focus on data plane layer design and implementation

    + Incorporate Network Traffic Analysis (NTA), Endpoint Detection and Response (EDR), Security Incident and Event Management (SIEM), Security Orchestration, Automation, and Response (SOAR), and additional data analysis and enrichment capabilities into the data plane layer

    + Develop Application Programming Interface (API) workflows and develop APIs for secure intercommunication of technologies

    + Apply microservice architecture design to software development and integration efforts

    + Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and Configuration as Code (CaC) technologies such as Terraform, Ansible, Helm, and Kubernetes Operators to deploy containerized applications to a Kubernetes-based platform

    + Implement cybersecurity and code security processes of the CI/CD pipeline and DevSecOps platform

    Required Qualifications:

    + Bachelor’s degree with 4yrs+ years of experience in related technical field or High School Diploma with 8+ years of experience

    + Experience with Kubernetes or similar platform

    + Experience with DevSecOps technologies such as Python, React, GitLab, Ansible, Terraform, Helm, Nexus, Artifactory, Fortify, SonarQube, Grafana, or pytest

    + Demonstrated experience developing solutions integrating and extending open source/GOTS/COTS applications

    Desired Qualifications:

    + Kubernetes certification

    + Familiarity with Artificial Intelligence (AI) technologies

    + Proficiency in full-stack web development using Django (Python) for backend and Next.js (React) for frontend, with experience building and deploying scalable web applications

    + DoD 8570 IAT Level 2 certification or higher

    + Familiarity with SIEM and SOAR technologies

    + Familiarity with DoD Enterprise DevSecOps Reference Design

    Security clearance requirement:

    + Ability to obtain and maintain TS/SCI clearance

    Physical requirements:

    + Must be able to be in a stationary position more than 50% of the time
