BAE Systems is looking for an experienced Technical Expert at a Senior levelto join a strong team supporting our government customer. This position will provide the ability to make a significant impact to the mission.

The Senior Technical Expert shall lead the development and execution of innovative technology strategies to align IT programs with business objectives. The Senior Technical Expert requires a forward-thinking mindset to identify and leverage cutting-edge solutions, ensuring the organization remains competitive and efficient in achieving its goals.

Required Education, Experience, & Skills

+ 8 years of experience crafting and implementing strategic technology roadmaps that incorporate enterprise cloud offerings, custom application delivery, and low-code/no-code solutions.

+ 8 years of experience driving alignment with Agile principles and practices to ensure seamless integration of technology initiatives with organizational priorities.

+ 8 years of experience optimizing system for scalability, reliability, and performance.

+ Proven track record collaborating with leadership and cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for technological innovation and process improvement.

+ Proven track record of delivering large-scale, complex projects with business impact.

+ 8 years of experience managing technology programs to meet budgetary, compliance, and performance objectives.

+ Supporting and guiding large teams (100 members) and overseeing complex Agile portfolios with multiple Agile Release Trains, ensuring successful delivery of initiatives.

+ Advanced certification and specialized training required includes AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Certified Network Professional, Microsoft Azure Expert, and certifications on relational databases like Oracle and PostgreSQL.

Pay Information

Full-Time Salary Range: $130355 - $221603

Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
