    Summary

    Responsible for overall supervision and operations of the designated physician office(s). Works with management and physicians in a collaborative manner, assuring all policies, procedures and programs are compatible with goals and objectives of line of business.

    Education

    Must be a high school graduate or the equivalent with GED. Must have completed a medical assistant program that meets certification eligibility requirements.

     

    Licensure/Certification

     

    Must be a Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) through American Association of Medical Assistants (AAMA) or Registered Medical Assistant (RMA) through American Medical Technologists (AMT) or Certified Clinical Medical Assistant (CCMA) through National Health career Association (NHA) or National Certified Medical Assistant (NCMA) through National Center for Competency Testing (NCCT) or Clinical Medical Assistant Certification (CMAC) through American Medical Certification Association (AMCA). CPR required.

    Experience

    3 years' experience in a physician office setting or related field; supervisory experience preferred. Staff scheduling experience preferred.

    Other Qualifications

    Must have solid verbal and written communication skills. Knowledge of clinical operations, service excellence, clinical quality and education initiatives. Must be familiar with computers, electronic medical record experience preferred
