Job Description Summary
We are seeking a Senior Contracts Manager to join our dynamic legal team responsible for providing transactional legal support to Cushman & Wakefield’s Brokerage and Capital Markets, Valuation & Advisory, Consulting and Incentives business. This role reports to the Vice President, Legal – Brokerage, Capital Markets & Procurement, and is responsible for drafting, negotiating, and managing high volume brokerage and real estate service contracts across the U.S. The ideal candidate will have strong industry knowledge, risk assessment skills, and proven experience independently drafting and negotiating real estate or other complex commercial contracts.
Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
+ Analyze, draft, negotiate and manage commercial real estate contracts and related documents for the company’s U.S. business in brokerage (tenant representation, agency leasing, capital markets) valuation & advisory, consulting and incentives, to ensure contract terms align with business objectives, policies, laws and regulations.
+ Identify and mitigate risks in commission agreements, agency agreements, engagement letters and other real estate contracts.
+ Drive operational improvements and best practices for contract workflows and efficient contract handling.
+ Monitor legal, regulatory and internal policy changes, update attorneys and contract templates as needed to ensure compliance with laws, corporate directives, policies and procedures.
+ Collaborate with team attorneys to share best practices, align and document negotiation and risk management strategies.
+ Advise internal clients with respect to policies and contracts.
+ Support attorneys with development and updating training materials; perform research and analysis and other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
+ Bachelor's degree in business, law, real estate, or a related field preferred.
+ Minimum 7 years’ experience independently negotiating and managing processes for complex commercial contracts.
+ Strong understanding of commercial contracts; Experience negotiating commercial real estate contracts is preferred.
+ Excellent analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills; must approach each task with innovative thinking, flexibility and drive.
+ Keen ability to multitask and successfully manage competing priorities.
+ Expert managing contract lifecycle and related systems and in all aspects of MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams).
+ Demonstrated ability and drive to work independently and cross-functionally under time-sensitive deadlines, and deliver quality work product in a fast-paced, deal-driven environment.

The compensation that will be offered to the successful candidate will depend on factors such as whether the position is covered by a collective bargaining agreement, the geographic area in which the work will be performed, market pay rates in that area, and the candidate’s experience and qualifications.
The company will not pay less than minimum wage for this role.
The compensation for the position is: $89,250.00 - $105,000.00
