**Sodexo** is seeking an experienced **General Manager 4 – Food and Nutritional Services** to support Virginia Hospital Center in Arlington, VA. This director level role will support a team of 75-100 employees and will be a trusted advisor that’s central to the client partnership. The lead candidate should have experience in patient services, tray line, retail operations, and dietary. The role will have direct accountability for operational excellence ‐ achieved by delivering on our service commitments that are: Predictable, Reliable, and Repeatable.

What You'll Do

+ have oversight of day-to-day operations of all food operations

+ deliver high quality food service

+ effectively lead the team through all Sodexo managers and hospital front line staff

+ ensure delivery of high quality food services including cafeteria retail, patient meals, and any catering needs that may arise

+ achieve company and client financial targets and goals to ensure HACCP, regulatory and Sodexo standards compliance

+ develop and maintain client and customer relationships

+ Have healthcare leadership experience in an acute care setting.

+ Has a work history demonstrating strong leadership skills, as well as previous supervisory experience and the ability to work collaboratively.

+ Has the ability to manage multiple priorities, demonstrate professional communication skills, and a passion for a high level of customer service.

+ Can demonstrate the ability to prioritize tasks and exhibit flexibility to take on additional responsibilities as needed.
