The role** **you’ll** **contribute:

The Sonographer – Women's Specialty Care performs diagnostic sonographic imaging of fetal and maternal anatomy, urinary and gynecologic anatomy or any other diagnostic studies as deemed necessary by the physician for interpretation and/or intervention. This individual assists the Perinatologist, Urogynecology and/or other physician specialist in patient care and procedures.

+ Delivers appropriate care while recognizing patient conditions and ensuring successful completion of procedures.

+ Assesses the patient’s physical condition and age specific needs.

+ Provides instructions that achieve patient cooperation and desired results.

+ Acquires patient’s clinical history and provideaccurate documentation for invasive procedures.

+ Documents patient weight, blood pressure and other pertinent information depending on patient status.

The** **expertise** **and experiences** **you’ll** **need to succeed:

**Minimum qualifications** :

+ High School or equivalent.

+ 3 years sonographer experience, and a documented track record of leadership experience.

+ 3 years in either obstetric and perinatal sonography, urogynecologist sonography and/or other specialized diagnostic studies is preferred. A history of working with a Maternal Fetal Medicine Specialist, Urogynocologist and/or other specialty trained physicians in the past is preferred.

+ Demonstrates ability to communicate by reading, writing legibly, speaking and comprehending English effectively in order to carry out job requirements.
