    Description

    SAIC is seeking a **Program Cost Analyst** located at **Picatinny Arsenal in New Jersey** to support the **Project Manager Maneuver Ammunition Systems (PM MAS)** to provide Government accounting and financial assistance to the assigned area and financial manager regarding financial and accounting functions, the application of accounting principles, policies, and procedures.

    JOB DESCRIPTION:

    + Provide knowledge of Government Accounting functions and use Government financial systems

    + Provide accounting advice and assistance to team members and Government leadership and provide briefings on accounting matters when needed

    + Research and resolve abnormal account conditions/transactions

    + Conduct on-going reviews of accounts to quickly discover abnormal conditions and to ensure compliance with applicable laws, regulations, policies, and/or directives

    + Liaise with external accounting organizations to resolve abnormal account conditions, perform audit functions, and ensure financial accountability

    + Support audits and quarterly reviews

    Qualifications

    REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

    + Bachelors and five (5)+ years of related experience; additional four (4) years of experience accepted in lieu of degree

    + Must Possess knowledge of Government Accounting functions and Government financial systems

    + Experience working with audits and quarterly reviews

    + Experience providing accounting advice and briefing teams on accounting matters

    REQUIRED CLEARANCE:

    + Must be able to obtain a full Secret Clearance; Interim Secret required prior to start, SAIC will help to obtain

    + Must be a current U.S. Citizen
