    Job Summary

    Comcast Advertising is seeking an Executive Creative Director to join our Global Marketing & Insights team. Reporting to the Head of Marketing & Insights, you will be responsible for translating our brands’ strategies into award-winning creative across our global footprint, inclusive of linear, out-of-home, digital, print, social, collateral, tentpole events, and experiential activations.

     

    In addition to creative thought leadership, the Executive Creative Director will identify and vet new creative resources and work directly with project managers to establish creative timelines, manage writer & designer workloads, review all creative work, and present creative and concepts to senior level executives.

    Job Description

    Core Responsibilities

    + Oversee the creative budget and mentor a team of 20+ Develop and drive Comcast Advertising, FreeWheel, and Universal Ad’s overarching creative vision across all marketing and brand assets

    + Think strategically and help shape branded compelling communications that generate leads and drive traffic to our websites

    + Ensure a unified approach to brand storytelling, maintaining visual and tonal consistency across all consumer touchpoints

    + Collaborate with key internal stakeholders across the organization to develop and execute creative strategies that support overall business goals

    + Stay ahead of industry trends, emerging technologies, and audience behavior to bring fresh, innovative ideas to the creative process

    + Oversee the creative process for marketing campaigns, from concept through to execution.

    + Partner with project management to ensure timely delivery of assets that meet high creative standards and adhere to marketing timelines

    + Embrace creative experimentation and champion ideas that explore non-traditional solutions

    + Run multiple projects and productions at once, with strong ability to manage and delegate

    + Coach, mentor and advise staff.

    + Consistent exercise of independent judgment and discretion in matters of significance.

    + Regular, consistent and punctual attendance. Must be able to work nights and weekends, variable schedule(s) and overtime as necessary.

    + Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

    Preferred Qualifications:

    + Proven experience in leading and executing large-scale, integrated marketing campaigns

    + Experience managing and allocating creative resources and working with project management

    + Deep understanding of brand development, digital media, social platforms, and current creative trends

    + Exceptional creative vision with a strategic mindset and the ability to adapt to changing business needs.

    + Strong leadership and team management skills, with a focus on mentorship and developing creative talent

    + Ability to collaborate and influence cross-functional teams, including senior leadership, marketing, and creative staff

    + A track record of managing and delivering complex projects on time and within budget

    + Strong presentation and communication skills, with the ability to inspire and communicate a creative vision to internal and external stakeholders

    + Has robust understanding of current and emerging industry trends and pushes for original work

    Salary:

    Primary Location Pay Range: $196,353.55 - $294,530.32

     

    Comcast intends to offer the selected candidate base pay within this range, dependent on job-related, non-discriminatory factors such as experience. The application window is 30 days from the date job is posted, unless the number of applicants requires it to close sooner or later.

     

    Base pay is one part of the Total Rewards that Comcast provides to compensate and recognize employees for their work. Most sales positions are eligible for a Commission under the terms of an applicable plan, while most non-sales positions are eligible for a Bonus.
