Medical Associates Clinic is hiring an **Aesthetics** **Manager** based out of the Aesthetics Center in Dubuque, Iowa.

Where You Will Be Working:

Medical Associates Clinic is a physician owned multi-specialty group practice. Our 200+ providers and 900 health care professionals lead the way in providing quality healthcare in Northeast Iowa, Southwest Wisconsin and Northwest Illinois.

What You Will Be Doing:

As the Aesthetics Manager, you will manage the day-to-day operations and oversee aesthetics staff as well as provide services to clients.

Schedule:

Core business hours for this position are Mon-Fri, between the hours of 8:00-5:00 with flexibility to attend meetings outside core business hours on occasion.

Aesthetics Services include (but not limited to):

- soft tissue fillers

- chemical peels

- laser hair removal

- intense pulsed light treatments

- laser skin resurfacing

- non-invasive fat reduction

- non-surgical skin tightening

-microblading

Essential Functions & Responsibilities:

+ **Lead, train, and mentor the aesthetics team** , ensuring adherence to treatment protocols, safety standards, and excellent client care.

+ **Foster a positive and professional work environment** , addressing staff concerns, providing performance feedback, and promoting teamwork.

+ **Oversee daily operations** , including scheduling, inventory management, and equipment maintenance, to ensure efficiency and compliance.

+ **Perform aesthetic treatments** such as Botox, fillers, laser procedures, and skincare consultations while maintaining the highest safety and regulatory standards.

+ **Educate patients** on treatment options, expected outcomes, and aftercare to ensure informed decision-making and satisfaction.

+ **Promote aesthetic services** through patient engagement, tracking performance metrics, and collaborating on marketing initiatives.

+ **Coordinate with medical professionals** to ensure treatments are safe, effective, and aligned with best practices.

+ **Maintain accurate documentation** of patient records, treatment history, and consent forms while ensuring compliance with industry regulations.

+ **Manage hiring selection** , training, development, performance evaluations, and performance issues for direct reports. Ensures appropriate staffing levels necessary for department workload.Implements changes for continual improvement in services provided and ensure high level of quality is consistent with organization standards.

+ Complete all other assigned projects and duties.

8. **Policy Compliance and Ethical Behavior** : Comply with Medical Associates policies and behave in an ethical manner at all times.

Knowledge & Skills:

_Experience:_** Three to five years of similar or related experience. Leadership experienced preferred, **aesthetics experience required.

_Education:_** Equivalent to a two-year college degree or completion of a specialized course of study or certification at a business or trade school, Bachelors Degree or Masters Degree in healthcare related fields. **RN license required.

**_Interpersonal Skills_** _:_ Strong interpersonal relationship skills with ability to build solid rapport and workplace relationships with staff, physicians, and all support personnel.

A significant level of trust and diplomacy is required, in addition to normal courtesy and tact. Work involves extensive personal contact with others inside and/or outside the organization, and/is usually of a personal or sensitive nature. Work may involve motivating or influencing others. Outside contacts become important (vendor reps, labs, offices, hospital, etc.) and fostering sound relationships with other entities (companies and/or individuals) becomes necessary.

**Other Skills:** Effective organizational, oral and written communication skills, problem solving, program development, computer skills, strong leadership, and team building skills.

Physical Aspects:

Stooping - Bending body downward and forward by bending spine at the waist. This factor is important if it occurs to a considerable degree and requires full use of the lower extremities and back muscles.

Reaching - Extending hand(s) and arm(s) in any direction.

Lifting - Raising objects from a lower to a higher position or moving objects horizontally from position-to-position. This factor is important if it occurs to a considerable degree and requires the substantial use of the upper extremities and back muscles.

Fingering - Picking, pinching, typing or otherwise working, primarily with fingers rather than with the whole hand or arm as in handling.

Grasping - Applying pressure to an object with the fingers and palm.

Feeling - Perceiving attributes of objects, such as size, shape, temperature or texture by touching with skin, particularly that of fingertips.

Talking - Expressing or exchanging ideas by means of the spoken word. Those activities in which they must convey detailed or important spoken instructions to other workers accurately, loudly or quickly.

Hearing - Perceiving the nature of sound with or without correction. Ability to receive detailed information through oral communication and to make fine discriminations in sound, such as when making fine adjustments on machined parts.

Vision - 20 / 40 or better in the best eye with or without correction.

Repetitive Motions - Substantial movements (motions) of the wrists, hands and/or fingers.
