The New York City Mayor’s Office is responsible for overseeing city services throughout the five

The Team You’ll Work With
The Mayor’s Office of Minority and Women-owned Business Enterprises (OM/WBE) was created to
address income inequality across the city and address the disparity in NYC Contracts awarded to
certain ethnic and gender groups and the City’s overall representation in NYC Contracting. OM/WBE
is responsible for oversight, policy, interagency coordination, and accountability for the City of New
York’s Minority and Women-owned Business Enterprises(MWBE). Its services as the one-stop shop for
MWBEs interested in doing business with the City of New York and its
respective Agencies.
The office in conjunction with other NYC Agencies is responsible for the recruitment, growth,
development, and integration of NYC-certified MWBEs into specific procurement opportunities.
The Problems You’ll Solve
Reporting to the Centralized Construction Mentor Program (CCMP) Director, the CCMP Manager is
responsible for supporting the Director in planning and overseeing administrative and
operational matters for the newly launched Mentor Program. Under the direction of the Director, the
CCMP Manager supports oversight of all contracted consultants, participating
operating agencies, as well as Mentor Program projects to ensure that the day-to-day operations of the
Mentor Program are coordinated and running smoothly.
- Supports the execution and delivery of core services of the Mentor Program.
- Implements standardized program operating procedures to ensure that minority and small
business firms are afforded opportunities in Mentor Program construction projects.
- Compiles and produces Mentor Program reports delineating budgets, expenditures, goals,
initiatives, achievements, and statistical analyses.
- Supports the maintenance and operations of effective reporting systems to ensure that all
mentor construction management firms are adhering to policy.
- Conducts visits to various construction sites to ensure compliance with labor law requirements
and program guidelines.
- Serves as a key liaison between the various oversight entities, agencies, outside contractors,
and consultants for the Mentor Program.
- Support mentees in obtaining appropriate loans, lines of credit, and bonding, as needed.
- Maintains appropriate liaison relationships with other public sector organizations, educational
facilities, community groups, and civic organizations.
- Supports development and execution of outreach and marketing strategy to maximize outreach
events designed to recruit and retain firms in the Mentor Program.
- Supports the development of alternate procurement processes and evaluates their
implementation.
- Under the guidance of the Director, prepares and analyzes the annual operating budget for the
Mentor Program.
- Serves as a key member of the Office, executing strategies, and operationalizing policies and
procedures for the unit.
- Performs related duties, as assigned.

Qualifications
1. Do you have a baccalaureate degree from an accredited college or university?
2. Do you have an associate degree from an accredited college or university along with two (2) years of experience with administrative, analytic, coordinative, supervisory or liaison responsibilities?
3. Do you have a four-year high school diploma, or its educational equivalent approved by a state's Department of Education or a recognized accrediting organization along with four (4) years of experience as described in question "2" above?
4. Do you have a satisfactory combination of education and/or experience equivalent to that described in questions "1," "2," and/or "3" above?

Salary Min: $105,000.00
Salary Max: $115,000.00
