Job Description:
Ma Lab – Scottish Rite for Children / UT Southwestern Medical Center (Dallas, Tx)
About UsThe Ma Lab at Scottish Rite for Children Hospital and UT Southwestern Medical Center is seeking a highly motivated postdoctoral researcher to join our team. Our lab focuses on developing advanced biomaterials and tissue engineering strategies to repair damaged bone and cartilage using clinically relevant animal models.
Our research is generously supported by National Institute of Dental and Craniofacial Research, National Institute of Arthritis and Musculoskeletal and Skin Diseases, and Pediatric Orthopaedic Society of North America.
We pursue innovative and translational research by developing new biomaterials with unique biological/physical/chemical properties to meet the requirements of local tissue engineering for accelerating bone and cartilage repair.
The Ma Lab fosters a collaborative and interdisciplinary environment, working closely with both clinical surgeons and basic scientists. The selected candidate will receive comprehensive training in advanced lab techniques and translational research, developing the skills and clinical insight necessary for a successful independent scientific career.
