    The Licensed Practical Nurse’s (LPN) primary responsibilities are to provide respectful, comprehensive, and person-centered direct care services to individuals in the residential homes provided by Minnesota State Operated Community Services (MSOCS).

    Primary Responsibilities Include:

    + Takes temperature, pulse, respiration, and blood pressure readings.

    + Administers and records prescribed medication.

    + Keeps clinical charts and reports on the physical and emotional state of clients.

    + Promotes and participates in rehabilitation activities.

    + Maintains a clean and hazard-free environment.

    + Promotes clients' personal hygiene.

    + May regulate parental fluids and administer intramuscular injection.

    + Administers emergency first aid.

    + Orders supplies and equipment.

    + Operate a motor vehicle and possess a current, valid driver’s license

    *Current employees are not eligible for the hiring bonus.

    Minimum Qualifications

    + Must possess licensure in Minnesota as a Practical Nurse

    + Must have a valid driver's license

    *Future Practical Nurses who are within six (6) months of graduating and taking their NCLEX-LPN are encouraged to apply. Contingent job offers may be made upon successful completion of degree and passing of NCLEX-LPN
