    Mostly remote with the ability to meet patients in clinic as necessary. Must be licensed to provide counseling in Tennessee and licensed to counsel without supervision.

    Responsibilities

    Provide behavioral health counseling services.

     

    + Conduct patient assessments and establish therapy treatment goals.

    + Administer individual and group therapy.

    + Maintain thorough and confidential records of observations.

    + Evaluate progress and effectiveness of therapy interventions.

    + Provide patient with information regarding resources and therapeutic activities in the community.

    + Work directly with the patient, family, physician and community providers to ensure active and collaborate care from the initiation of treatment to the time of discharge.

    Requirements

    Licensure / Certification / Registration:

    + One or more of the following required:

    + Counselor credentialed from the Tennessee Board for Professional Counselors and Marital and Family Therapists obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.

    + Bachelor Social Worker credentialed from the Tennessee Board of Social Workers obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.

    + Social Worker specializing in Clinical Practice credentialed from the Tennessee Board of SocialWorkers obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.

    + BLS Provider. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted preferred.

    Education:

    + High School diploma equivalency with 2 years of cumulative experience OR Associate'sdegree/Technical degree OR 4 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.
