Job Description
Insight Global is looking for a Marine Fiber Optic Technician to support our client in the Hampton Roads, Virginia area. This technician will install, run, test, and troubleshoot fiber optic cable aboard marine surface vessels. This role will be based in a shipyard environment and will have mandatory OT opportunities. The schedule for this role is Monday through Friday, 6am - 2:30pm. The ray will depend on years of experience but for junior fiber technicians, the pay is between $23-$25/hr.

Skills and Requirements
4 years of fiber optic experience. This experience includes pulling, testing, troubleshooting, and splicing fiber optic cable.
The ability to attain Fiber Optic certifications.
Active Maritime OSHA 10 certification
Can access local shipyards. Former Navy ET, AT, or IT
Can have all commercial fiber optic experience. null
