    Job Description

    Insight Global is seeking a Structural Technician III to join a client in Colorado Springs, CO. The Structures Technician will be responsible for interpreting blueprints and schematics to fabricate sheet metal. You will be involved in part fitting by bending, filing, trimming, framing, and riveting to dimensions listed. You will mount fixtures on the interior and exterior, measure parts with calibrated tools, and monitor quality for verification by the quality team. Candidates will need to have a high level of skill with riveting including the ability to match drill and countersink holes and buck/squeeze countersunk/button head rivets on objects of various dimensions. The work environment is very quality oriented over quantity and technicians are given a lot of leeway to work on their own accord.

    Skills and Requirements

     

    Interim or active secret clearance

     

    4+ years structural experience with sheet metal for aircraft

     

    Extensive depot level experience with Bucking/ Drilling Countersunk Rivets

     

    Ability to read and interpret blueprints

     

    Must provide own tools (tool list provided, need to be in a shadowed box)

    HS Diploma/GED Previous military background or experience working for another defense contracting agency null
