GENERAL JOB SUMMARY: Join a collaborative software engineering team to support the design, development, and testing of software projects. Gain hands-on experience working on real-world applications and integrating software with hardware systems.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

+ Assist in the design, coding, and implementation of software modules.

+ Contribute to software testing activities, including test planning and execution.

+ Document testing results and provide clear, organized reports.

+ Support the creation and maintenance of software documentation.

+ Collaborate on hardware and software integration tasks for system-level testing.

Other Job Functions:

+ Perform additional duties as assigned to support project and team objectives.

Required Experience:

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES REQUIRED:

+ Ability to manage sensitive and confidential information in compliance with security standards.

+ Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively within a team environment.

+ Professional conduct in interactions with both team members and the public.

+ Adherence to company policies, procedures, and workplace standards.

+ Familiarity with software development life cycles and testing methodologies preferred.

+ Understanding of microprocessors, computer-based control systems, and related software is a plus.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

+ Currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.

+ Basic experience with MS Office applications.

WORK ENVIRONMENT / PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

+ Work performed in both office and production environments.

+ Ability to remain seated or standing for extended periods.

+ Capable of performing repetitive motions such as typing or phone use.

+ Ability to lift up to 30 pounds when necessary.
