• Industrial Maintenance Mechanic - Second Shift

    Our client, a leader in the industrial sector, is seeking an INDUSTRIAL MAINTENANCE MECHANIC - SECOND SHIFT to join their team. As an INDUSTRIAL MAINTENANCE MECHANIC, you will be part of the maintenance department supporting the production team. The ideal candidate will have strong problem-solving skills, excellent communication abilities, and a collaborative mindset which will align successfully in the organization.

     

    **Job Title:** INDUSTRIAL MAINTENANCE MECHANIC - SECOND SHIFT

    **Location:** Middletown, NY

    What's the Job?

     

    + Ensure correct and safe operation of equipment and machinery using a computerized maintenance management system (CMMS).

    + Troubleshoot and maintain AC and DC motors, plastic extruders, electrical systems, pneumatic tools, and hydraulic equipment.

    + Identify faulty equipment through observation and testing metrics.

    + Work with maintenance & facility manager to continually update the production process and system software.

    + Attend daily shift meetings to prioritize work orders and minimize downtime.

     

    What's Needed?

     

    + Minimum of 3 years industrial maintenance or heavy equipment experience required.

    + Advanced understanding of hydraulics, pneumatics, and mechanics.

    + Advanced understanding of electrical systems.

    + High school diploma or GED.

    + Team player and willing to work with minimal supervision.
