    Overview

    Position Summary:

    Primarily responsible for managing a team and executing the general operating objectives of the Air business line, by directing the non-exempt staff in multiple areas of service, administration of business, warehouse and delivery, installations, collections and/or parts.

    Key Job Responsibilities:

    • Manage the daily activities of all area departments including service, collection, installation, warehouse and parts teams

    • Assist in creating annual goals and budgets; manage costs, revenue performance and report progress regularly

    • Ensure consistent execution of standard operating procedures and compliance with company policies

    • Responsible for the management and security of regional assets including facilities, cash and currency, inventory, vehicles, and on-location machines

    • Maintain and strengthen relationship with the client base

    • Safety Committee management

    • Perform other duties assigned

    Key Management Responsibilities:

    • Recruit, hire, and manage assigned team

    • Delegate tasks and assign/schedule work to meet deadlines

    • Support employee development and provide training as needed

    • Establish team and individual employee goals

    • Conduct performance evaluations and manage employee performance

    • Authority to terminate or make a termination recommendation

    • Communicate and enforce company policies, practices and procedures with team

    Required Education & Experience:

    • Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, logistics or business administration or a related field, plus 7-10 years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience

    • Experience managing a multi-million-dollar operation; ideally on one or more areas including service, cash, collections or capital equipment. Experience with route-based business is a plus.

    • Significant experience in a related field, such as those involving servicing equipment, field operations and vehicle management, parts inventory, etc.

    What we’re looking for

    Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

    • Ability to read, analyze, interpret, and understand general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, financial reports, legal documents, or governmental regulations

    • Proficient in writing reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals

    • Proven ability to effectively present information to management and groups of employees

    • Ability to work with a variety of mathematical concepts

    • High-level ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions

    • High-level ability to interpret a variety of instructions in various formats

    • Strong Microsoft Office skills

    • Mechanical aptitude and ability to learn the operation of various equipment

    • Experience with safety, security and loss prevention practices

    Special Requirements, Licenses, or Certificates:

    • Ability to manage employees and managers both on-site and remotely

    • Strong organizational skills to balance operational objectives with sales demands

    Physical Requirements:

    • Specific physical demands may vary based on assigned geography or equipment

    • Must be able to lift up to 75 pounds and will frequently work in a variety of environmental conditions (both weather and non-weather related)

    • Travel required approximately 50% of the time
