About The Role
The International Seller Services (ISS) Finance team is looking for a highly motivated and experienced Finance Manager to lead the newly established Selection & Economics charter. This role will play a pivotal role in helping define the initiatives around including Fee frameworks, Analytics, internal tools of Account Management and GenAI efforts for driving productivity across the Organization.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or related field; MBA preferred
8+ years of experience in finance, with demonstrated expertise in financial modeling and business analytics
Strong proficiency in Excel, SQL, and data visualization tools
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
Superior communication and presentation abilities
Experience working with senior leadership and driving strategic initiatives
Preferred Skills:
Experience in tech industry finance
Knowledge of statistical analysis and forecasting techniques
Understanding of machine learning and advanced analytics
Key job responsibilities
Business Partnership & Strategic Analysis:
Partner with senior business leaders to develop strategic recommendations that drive organizational success and operational efficiency
Lead complex financial analyses to evaluate business performance, identify trends, and provide actionable insights
Develop and maintain key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure business health and progress against strategic objectives
Provide analytical support for major business decisions, including resource allocation and investment prioritization
Financial Analysis & Modeling:
Build sophisticated financial models to evaluate business opportunities, risks, and strategic initiatives
Conduct cost-benefit analyses and ROI assessments for new projects and programs
Develop forecasting models to project business outcomes and financial impacts
Leadership & Cross-functional Collaboration:
Lead cross-functional projects and influence senior stakeholders through data-driven recommendations
Partner with other finance teams to ensure consistency in analytical approaches and methodologies
Drive process improvements and automation initiatives to enhance team efficiency
Basic Qualifications
- 5+ years of tax, finance or a related analytical field experience
- BA or BS in Finance, Accounting, Business, Economics, or a highly analytical field (e.g., Engineering, Math, Computer Science) and 5+ years of finance experience, or Master’s degree and 3+ years of finance experience
Preferred Qualifications
- 6+ years of identifying incomplete or inaccurate data, identifying the root cause and creating/implementing an escalation plan experience
- 6+ years of solving complex business challenges by delivering accurate and timely financial models, analysis, and recommendations that have a proven impact on business (e.g., financial savings, operational improvements, or customer benefits) experience
- MBA, or CPA
- Knowledge of SQL/ETL
- Experience working with large-scale data mining and reporting tools (examples: SQL, MS Access, Essbase, Cognos) and other financial systems (examples: Oracle, SAP, Lawson, JD Edwards)
- Experience delivering forecasting, budgeting, and variance analysis, and data interpretation of results

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $85,900/year in our lowest geographic market up to $179,500/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered, equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
