JOB SUMMARY
ONEOK is looking for a Construction Coordinator to join our team!
Ideal candidates will have:
• 3-5 years of experience in the Energy Industry, covering all phases of construction and asset processes, whether regulated (CFR 49-192/195) or non-regulated. Examples include Cross Country/Gathering/Distribution Pipelines, Boosters, Meters, and Compressor Stations.
• Proficiency in Project Specifications, Codes & Standards, and Regulatory Compliance, with the ability to effectively communicate these requirements to employees or personnel in both field and office settings.
• Knowledge of material selection processes for complex designs and requirements for HVL products, considering environmental variations.
Job Profile Summary
+ Performs entry to intermediate level of responsibilities related to development, coordination, implementation, and direction of project plan(s) and monitor performance to ensure that company expectations are satisfied regarding environmental, safety, cost effectiveness, quality assurance/control, project work plan, schedules, and impact to the public. Work independently and obtains support for more complex assignments.
+ Welding Inspection training and welder records oversight including the continuous improvement of weld quality that is aligned with Regulatory Codes & Standards and Company Specifications.
+ Provide technical support for Welding Inspection, weld and welder performance testing, welding process support for construction projects, maintenance sites, and proposal efforts.
Essential Functions and Responsibilities
+ Develop, coordinate, implement and oversee construction and maintenance projects in their entirety and monitor project status and modify when needed to ensure timeliness and quality of projects is consistent with company standards
+ Utilize resources selected such as inspection, equipment, contractors and material procurement required to coordinate projects
+ Coordinate, implement and oversee and monitor the schedule of contractors, inspectors and employees in construction and maintenance activities of pipeline construction, processing plants, storage facilities, terminals, gathering and/or transmission systems and appurtenances and report status including but not limited to:
+ Measurement facilities
+ Plant process equipment and controls
+ Pipeline facilities; above and below grade
+ Corrosion control
+ Leakage survey
+ Oversee and monitor installation and/or maintenance of plant and pipeline equipment and facilities including but not limited to:
+ Meter/regulator settings
+ Tapping/pressure control equipment
+ Storage tanks/scrubbers/dehydrators
+ Pressure tests (air, gas, water)
+ Evaluate whether to repair or replace pipe and appurtenances
+ Ensure contractors’ compliance with safety, quality, competency and performance standards. Provide feedback to ensure company standards are being followed
+ Compile, prepare and/or verify information including but not limited to:
+ Operating activities
+ Completion reports
+ Accident reports
+ Work orders
+ Customer correspondence
+ Responsibilities may include Department of Transportation (DOT) covered functions, including operations, maintenance, or emergency response on a pipeline. Job duties also require the employee to be alert and respond immediately to dangerous or hazardous conditions, and where impaired performance, or failure to follow safety precautions, could result in serious injury or property damage.
Education
+ Associate's in engineering technology or bachelor’s degree in engineer-related field is preferred
Work Experience
+ Welding or Mechanical Engineering training.
+ Prior experience in Welding processes (SMAW, GMAW, FCAW, GTAW, SAW)
+ Analytical approach to problem solving.
+ Willingness to train others
+ Strong written and verbal communication skills
+ Leadership experience
+ Ability to develop budgets, complete monthly budget forecasting and conducting weekly budget meetings with operation management.
+ This level is typically attained at 1-5 years of related experience, knowledge and/or training in general construction preferred

+ Knowledge of: construction industry, maintenance and operation of pipeline systems and appurtenances preferred

+ Ability to: assist in routine and/or emergency activities such as construction and maintenance; leakage detection and repair; and corrosion control
+ Ability to: operate tools and equipment required including computer applications and construction management platforms

$66,000.00 - $98,000.00
