Rapidly growing services company located in the Greater Philadelphia area is looking to staff a Senior Director of Accounting with large company expertise. In this Senior Director of Accounting ole, the successful candidate will lead corporate initiatives aimed at standardizing practices and improving operational efficiencies throughout the organization The Senior Director of Accounting will be responsible for maintaining a deep understanding of financial outcomes while ensuring compliance with US GAAP standards. This role requires the application of foundational principles, advanced theories, and established concepts, along with the ability to make informed and complex decisions

Responsibilities:

+ Oversee all cash-related functions, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, debt management, banking operations, and cash forecasting.

+ Lead the accounts payable and accounts receivable teams, ensuring efficient processes and compliance with company policies.

+ Manage cash flow forecasting and variance analysis to support strategic financial decisions.

+ Collaborate with executive leadership and external partners on financing strategies, capital planning, and compliance with credit agreements.

+ Develop and implement initiatives to enhance internal controls and streamline accounting operations.

+ Provide financial analysis and reporting to executive management, offering insights into cash flow, balance sheets, and income statement projections.

+ Support month-end and quarter-end close processes, ensuring coordination between treasury and general accounting teams.

+ Identify opportunities for cost savings and operational efficiencies within treasury and accounting functions.

+ Mentor and develop accounting staff, fostering growth and alignment with organizational objectives.

Requirements

The ideal Senior Director of Accounting will preferably have a Bachelors degree in Accounting/Finance/Business Administration. CPA required

Other requirements for the Senior Director of Accounting r role include and are not limited to:

+ 10+ yrs experience

+ 5+ yrs management experience

+ Strategic leadership of accounting departments

+ Treasury/Cash Management experience preferred

+ Highly organized with attention to detail and accuracy

+ Team player with strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills
