Description We are looking for a skilled Sr. Financial Analyst to join our team in Sterling, Virginia. This long-term contract position offers an exciting opportunity to apply your expertise in financial analysis, budgeting, and data-driven decision-making. You will play a critical role in driving key financial initiatives and supporting organizational goals.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain dashboards and templates to support financial reporting and decision-making.

• Conduct in-depth data analysis using advanced data mining techniques to uncover insights and trends.

• Collaborate with stakeholders to streamline budgeting processes and ensure accurate financial planning.

• Support forecasting efforts by creating detailed financial models and scenarios.

• Analyze budget performance and provide actionable recommendations for improvement.

• Utilize advanced Excel formulas to manage and interpret complex financial data.

• Partner with cross-functional teams to align financial strategies with business objectives.

• Monitor key financial metrics and prepare comprehensive reports for leadership.

• Ensure compliance with company policies and financial regulations. Requirements • Proven experience in financial analysis, budgeting, and forecasting.

• Proficiency in creating dashboards and templates to support data visualization.

• Strong knowledge of data mining techniques and their application in financial contexts.

• Expertise in budgeting processes and financial planning methodologies.

• Advanced skills in Excel, including complex formulas and data manipulation.
