    Description We are looking for an experienced Accounts Receivable Clerk to join our team on a long-term contract basis in Savannah, Georgia. In this role, you will play a key part in managing financial transactions and ensuring accurate record-keeping within the manufacturing industry.     Responsibilities:

    • Process and manage accounts receivable transactions, including invoicing and collections.

    • Reconcile account balances to ensure accuracy and resolve discrepancies promptly.

    • Handle cash applications by applying payments to customer accounts.

    • Perform billing tasks, including issuing invoices and maintaining detailed records.

    • Collaborate with customers and internal teams to address payment issues and resolve disputes.

    • Conduct commercial collections to recover outstanding payments effectively.

    • Utilize accounting software such as Oracle, QuickBooks, or SAP to maintain records and generate reports.

    • Prepare financial statements and reports related to accounts receivable activities.

    • Monitor accounts receivable aging and recommend actions for overdue accounts.

    • Assist in audits and ensure compliance with company policies and procedures. Requirements • Minimum of 3 years of experience in accounts receivable or related financial roles.

    • Proficiency in account reconciliation and billing processes.

    • Strong knowledge of cash applications and collections procedures.

    • Hands-on experience with accounting software, including Oracle, QuickBooks, and SAP.

    • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel for data analysis and reporting.

    • Familiarity with commercial collections and the ability to negotiate effectively.

    • Excellent organizational skills with a strong attention to detail.

    • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
