JOB SUMMARY
We are seeking an innovative Manufacturing Industrial Engineer with a strong background in CNC sheet metal fabrication. In this role, you will be responsible for optimizing manufacturing processes, driving efficiency, and leading continuous improvement initiatives to reduce product costs and enhance productivity. This position involves collaborating closely with internal teams, utilizing Lean methodology, and ensuring our CNC operations operate at peak performance.
As a Manufacturing Industrial Engineer, you will develop, evaluate, and improve manufacturing methods and processes to maximize efficiency, reduce costs, and ensure product quality. You'll collaborate closely with production, quality, engineering, and supply chain teams to support plant operations and lead process improvement initiatives.

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR
+ + Experience:
+ + At least 2 years of experience in manufacturing engineering with a focus on CNC programming, process optimization, and equipment management.
+ Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing principles and their application in a manufacturing environment.
+ Strong experience with CNC equipment, G-code, CAM software, and CAD software.
+ Education:
+ Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
+ Certification in CNC programming or manufacturing engineering is preferred.
+ Skills:
+ + Excellent problem-solving and analytical abilities.
+ Strong attention to detail with a focus on accuracy in programming and process implementation.
+ Proven ability to lead and collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive process improvements.
+ Familiarity with process flow analysis, time studies, and workflow optimization.
+ Proficient in using tools like Excel, CAD software, and ERP/MRP systems for process and resource planning.
WHAT YOU’LL DO
+ + Develop, implement, and optimize CNC programs to improve manufacturing efficiency and product quality.
+ Utilize Lean methodology to analyze production processes, identify opportunities for improvement, and eliminate non-value-added activities.
+ Work closely with design and engineering teams to ensure manufacturability of new products and components.
+ Collaborate with assembly leads to address manufacturing challenges related to tooling, equipment, materials, and processes.
+ Maintain and troubleshoot CNC machines to ensure optimal performance and minimal downtime.
+ Prepare detailed reports and summaries on production data, identifying trends and areas for improvement.
+ Lead continuous improvement projects, focusing on cost reduction and production optimization.
+ Ensure compliance with company policies and safety regulations in all manufacturing processes.
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:
+ + This position reports directly to our Manager of Continuous Improvement.
+ This is a full-time, on-site position located in Richland, MS.
+ Candidates must be eligible to work in the U.S. without visa sponsorship.
