Accounting Associate - Contractor

Adecco is hiring immediately for **Accounting Associates** with our client in **Troy, MI** . Weekly pay of **$29.00 per hour** (based on experience) and competitive benefits, including options for medical, dental, and vision. This is a **contractor position** with full-time hours, and a dynamic, collaborative work environment designed to support professional growth and well-being.

As an **Accounting Associate** , you’ll support key financial operations, including vendor management, travel expense review, payment tracking, and internal auditing. This is an excellent opportunity for candidates with strong analytical skills and a background in accounting, finance, or business administration to contribute to essential processes within a fast-paced, global organization.

Key Responsibilities:

+ Review and update new and existing customer files, analyzing credit limits and payment terms.

+ Review travel expense vouchers for proper documentation and accounting code accuracy.

+ Analyze payment histories to identify and prevent duplicate or incorrect payments.

+ Manage vendor registration, modifications, and reactivations.

+ Collect and organize financial documents for internal audit purposes, including sales sample testing, invoices, proof of delivery (PODs), and cash receipts.

+ Assist with bank reconciliation, check deposits, and miscellaneous financial transactions.

+ Support month-end closing activities by downloading and organizing reporting data.

+ Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

+ Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Statistics, or a related business field.

+ 1+ years of relevant experience in accounting and finance operations.

+ Proficiency with Microsoft Excel (intermediate level or higher).

+ Ability to work early or late hours when required to support global financial operations and month-end closings.

+ Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

+ Excellent attention to detail and organizational abilities.

+ Effective and professional interpersonal communication skills.

Preferred:

+ Familiarity with accounting principles and cash flow management.

+ Ability to work both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.

+ Physical ability to move or carry items when needed for inventory counts or related tasks.

**Pay Details:** $29.00 per hour
