    BRIEF POSITION SUMMARY:

    At MSC, Greater than 15% of our revenue are transacted electronically via EDI & XML and more than 60% start with our PunchOut solution or from our Hosted Catalog data. We’ve been growing our eProcurement team to deliver an industry leading onboarding solution and to have focus on quality control, hyper care and to prioritize and fix any failures or inefficiencies. As we build out the team, we are looking for a smart and innovative individual, who is self-sufficient, process oriented, and can drive results across business and technical teams.     DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

    + Gathers internal and external customer needs, opportunities and gaps and translates into solutions/product features for PunchOut and other eProcurement solutions.

    + Creates and refines use cases, user stories, and process flows to communicate features to both the engineering teams and stakeholders.

    + Works within the Agile methodology, breaking development projects into phases and emphasizes continuous collaboration and improvement. Process includes a cycle of planning, executing, and evaluating.

    + Actively participate in competitive analysis and VOC to identify gaps and opportunities in MSC’s ePro solutions.

    + Maps out processes, identifies process improvements and influences teams.

    + Supports the short-term feature delivery schedule.

    + Works closely with Product Owner and Scrum team to identify issues that may compromise feature delivery success.

    + Performs user acceptance testing on new features.

    + Works closely with Product Owner, engineering / development partners to assist in designing scalable solutions that provide enhanced solutions and the best customer experience.

    + Liaise with internal customers including sales, customer care, eComm & scrum team

    + Liaison for updating training materials to educate sales & customers on eProcurement solution enhancements.

    + Works closely with Go-to-Market team to develop training & educational materials on newly developed ePro/PunchOut enhancements & solutions.

    + Supports Key Performance Indicators including PO Automation Rates, Time-To-Money and project completion rates.

    + Work with Analytics & Reporting resources to create and improve customer facing metrics and measures associated with Total Cost of Ownership

    + Develop relationships with many of our larger customers & sales owners through engagement in Procure-to-Pay (P2P)

    + Maintain content and keep current eProcurement Solutions Page on mscdirect.com

    + Maintains and extends strong and positive relationships with internal and external customers.

    + Fosters the MSC Culture in the department and throughout the company to ensure fulfillment of MSC’s vision and unity of purpose.

    + Participation in special projects and performs additional duties as required

    QUALIFICATIONS What You Need:

    + + Bachelor’s degree or the equivalent work experience is required.

    + Working knowledge of eProcurement including Punchout

    + PC skills proficient-apply and use Excel/Word for data analysis required.

    + Excellent communication, organizational and planning skills are required.

    + Self-motivated and driven – a goal-based orientation with an ability to drive toward quick results.

    + Flexible individual capable of adapting to the constant change in technology and business process.

    + Excellent written and verbal communication skills required.

    Bonus Points If You Have:

    + Minimum four years’ experience in a Business or Sales environment preferred

    + Minimum of two years eBusiness experience is preferred.

    + Some experience with eProcurement Partners such as Ariba, Coupa, etc. is preferred.

    + Good presentation skills preferred

    Other Requirements:

    + A valid driver’s license may be required.

    + This position may require access to International Traffic in Arms Regulations Information (“ITAR”) and/or Controlled Unclassified Information (“CUI”)
